Sharjah: “The Gulf” an international study led by a researcher from “Sharjah University” revealed important results that may make a shift in the way to treat “multiple myeloma” patients, a type of blood cancer, as it showed that listening to evaluate patients for their physical condition before the start of treatment with the drug “Douaroomab” can help doctors to predict the extent of their response to treatment. The study was led by Dr. Ahmed Abu Helwa, assistant professor at the College of Pharmacy at the University, and included 1804 patients with injured patients, from three major clinical experiences around the world, in cooperation with the Burjeel Cancer Institute in the Emirates, the “Flinders University” in Australia, the “Movit Center” Cancer and “North Carolina University” in the United States,
