American media reported the death of two employees at the Israeli embassy in a shooting near the Jewish Museum in Washington.
“The shooting incident outside the Jewish Museum in Washington, in which employees of the Israeli embassy were wounded, is a terrorist act hostile to Semitism,” said the United Nations ambassador to the United Nations Danny Danone.
For his part, Ted Deutsche, CEO of the American Jewish Committee, confirmed in a statement to “ABC News”, that the committee had organized an event in the museum on Wednesday evening, adding: “We are shocked by this ugly violent work that took place outside the place of the event.”
In turn, the US Secretary of Homeland Security confirmed, “Two employees of the Israeli embassy were killed in a shooting near the Jewish Museum in Washington.”
And the “Axius” website, quoting the Israeli embassy, was “gunfire on two employees of the Israeli embassy near the Jewish Museum in Washington, DC.”
