The Federation of Egypt Writers, in cooperation with the Arab Book Award in Doha, holds a symposium entitled The Arab Book Award: visions and horizons; And that is at 8:30 pm next Tuesday, May 27; This is under the patronage of Professor Dr. Alaa Abdel -Hadi, President of the General Union of the Federation of Egypt Writers, and Professor Dr. Hoda Attia, President of the Monetary and Literary Studies Division of the Federation of Egypt.
Tomorrow, the Federation of Egypt’s Writers hosts a symposium on the Arab Book Award
The symposium activities begin with an opening speech by the director of the symposium, Dr. Hisham Zaghloul, a modern literature teacher at Cairo University; Where he knows the symposium and its importance, and the speakers, then a speech by Dr. Hanan Al-Fayyad- Media Adviser for the Arab Book Award, and Professor at Qatar University, then a speech by Dr. Amtanan Al-Smadi- Media Coordinator for the Arab Book Award, and Professor at the University of Jordan.
It is worth noting that the Arab Book Award is an international prize, and its value is one million dollars, based in Doha, and it is awarded to the candidates from scholars and those with critical, legal, literary and linguistic studies for their books in the Arabic language in the fields of humanities, social and legal sciences in the last four years of each session.
The visit of the media delegation to the Arab Book Award, and held several meetings at the Library of Alexandria and universities: Cairo, Ain Shams, Al-Azhar, and the Arabic Language Academy, as well as meeting with media means: visual, audio and read- this comes as a belief from the management of the Arab Book Award in the role of the Egyptian scholars, critics, thinkers and researchers, and the extent of their effective and effective contribution to all levels of knowledge.
