The Drinking Water and Sewerage Company in the lake announced the interruption of drinking water from the countryside of Rashid and Edko countryside, as of ten o’clock this morning, Wednesday, May 14, 2025 until three in the afternoon of the same day, as a result of the implementation of the process of replacing and renewing the 450 mm expulsion line from Edfina station to Deby Station.

The areas affected by the interruption are Rashid countryside, Edko countryside, and the company calls on citizens to manage their water needs during the interruption period, stressing that maintenance and emergency teams are working around the clock to finish the work as soon as possible, and gradually re -pumping water as soon as the maintenance is completed.
The company appealed to the owners of bakeries, hospitals and other vital bodies to provide their necessary water needs during the interruption period, while following up the updates published by the company through the official media and social media pages.
The company confirms the provision of pure drinking water cars in the affected areas, and in case of need, please call the hotline 125 from any ground phone to obtain the necessary support.
