The head of the Arab Beekeepers Union added, during television statements, saying: The widespread video is inaccurate and strikes an important industry in which thousands of families work … and the beekeeper sector under the microcope and control from the Ministries of Agriculture and Health and the Food Safety Authority.
He continued: The video circulating was more than a sample that is not represented for Egyptian honey and an imperfection.
And they continued: They said in the video that the levels of sucrose in honey are 5 %, and this is not true .. The standard Egyptian standard for the year 2005 stipulates the cause of its presence from 5 to 15 %.. The reason is the multiplicity of honey in Egypt .. and the type that analyzes it with a clover that connects in the scrub to 10 %.
Beheiri stressed that Egypt produces the best honey in the world and the export volume reaches 3,200 tons annually, stressing that it went with a complaint with the Supreme Media Council, because the reason for this is due to the damage of the beekeepers sector, export and the economy.
