His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Salman bin Muhammad Al Khalifa, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labor, opened the guiding ministry program: “Health and Safe”, which is implemented by the Ministry in cooperation with the Bahraini Health and Safety Association and the International Labor Organization, and the International Organization for Migration, at the headquarters of the Aluminum Company of Bahrain (Alba), in the presence of Dr. Mustafa Ali Al -Sayed, President of the Bahraini Health and Safety Association, and Mrs. Ayesh Ayham Sharif, President of the International Organization for Migration in the Kingdom of Bahrain One of the managers of companies and professional safety officials in the private sector.
The program aims to enhance joint efforts to continue educating workers about the requirements of protection and prevention of the effects of the summer season and professional injuries, by organizing indicative activities and activities in coordination with government agencies and in cooperation with private sector facilities, in addition to conducting field tests in work sites, to early detection of cases related to heat stress and sunstroke, and to provide health guidelines and ways to prevent them.
