Professor Lulwa Al -Awadi, Secretary -General of the Supreme Council for Women, held a meeting with His Excellency Dr. Sheikha Rana bint Issa bin Duaij Al Khalifa, Director General of the Institute of Public Administration, at the council’s headquarters in Al -Rafaa.
At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency Professor Al -Awadi welcomed the attendees, confirming the keenness of the Supreme Council for Women to framing cooperation relations with the institute to activate the areas of cooperation between the two sides according to the competencies of each party, praising the training programs that the Institute of Public Administration is doing that would contribute to capacity building and develop national cadres skills.
During the meeting, the fields of cooperation between the Supreme Council for Women and the Institute of Public Administration were discussed in implementing training programs aimed at raising the efficiency of leadership cadres of both sexes and spreading a culture of equal opportunities and gender balance through educational programs and workshops implemented by the Institute of Public Administration within the framework of the mandatory training plan in the national program for the development of government leaderships in cooperation and joint coordination between the Supreme Council for Women, the Institute of Public Administration and the Civil Service Authority, and in a way that ensures the sustainability of this implementation of this The program.
During the meeting, it was also agreed on the draft memorandum of understanding between the Supreme Council for Women and the Institute of Public Administration, to be a framework for comprehensive cooperation between the council and the institute.
For her part, Dr. Sheikha Rana bint Issa Al Khalifa expressed her appreciation for the fruitful cooperation with the Supreme Council for Women, confirming the institute’s commitment to support programs and initiatives that contribute to enhancing gender balance and developing national cadres.
