The people of Naga Hammadi, north of Qena Governorate, on Sunday morning, found a newborn baby girl lying next to the city’s bridge entrance, in an incident that raised a state of sadness and questions between the people.
The beginning came when the security services in the Qena Security Directorate received a notification from the operating room stating that a newborn baby was found lying next to the entrance to the Nag Hammadi Bridge.

The security services are intensifying their investigations to examine the surveillance cameras in the area, and hear the statements of the witnesses, with the aim of reaching those who left the girl in this place.
It is expected to transfer the girl to one of the care homes, after confirming her health and notifying the competent authorities.
