The student Zainab Adel Al -Shuwaikh, from the Saar Secondary School for Girls, conducted a historical scientific research on archaeological symbols in the ancient Dilmun civilization, and the connotations it carries related to the social and economic structure of that time era, with the support and supervision of the education teacher of citizenship, Maryam Issa Murad.
Zainab said that she presented through the research a number of theses that reflect a profound understanding of the importance of archaeological symbols, by reviewing approved literary and academic reviews that highlight these symbols in the Dilmun civilization. The research recommended that archaeological excavations should continue in the sites associated with these symbols, and deepen their symbolic study through the discovered artifacts.
The student thanked Dr. Salman Al -Mahari, Director of Antiquities and Museums at the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, for receiving it, and receiving a copy of this research, and his great encouragement for her to continue in this distinguished research approach, which contributes to building a conscious and proud generation with its roots and history.
Zainab is a distinguished and multi -talent student, during her study career a number of qualitative initiatives, and she is currently nominated for the distinguished student category within the Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Medical and Educational Sciences, and one of her most prominent initiatives is the launch of the first number of national electronic magazine entitled (Among the Danat and palm trees), in addition to achieving advanced centers in a number of local competitions.
This comes within the fruits of the Ministry of Education’s interest in developing scientific research skills in government schools, and linking them to the curricula, such as education for citizenship, as is the case in the research of the student Zainab Al -Shuwaikh.
