When education in the Kingdom of Bahrain reflects the quality of life and what is enjoyed by Bahraini society, we must start from the history of education in the Kingdom and its role in the educational renaissance in the region, and I mean the Gulf region, and about enlightenment and awareness of the importance of education and the most important characteristic of Bahrain youth culturally and awareness in many aspects in the period of the thirties and what it continues from years to the present day. The fact that Bahrain is a island to which various cultures have come to have become its strategic location as a center Vital to trade, this was an important role in openness with the world, and the fruitful openness is only achieved through education and enlightenment at various levels politically, economically and socially. The American, where a multicultural school had an important role in developing education for both sexes, then the Caliph Hidaya School was established in the Muharraq region in 1919 for boys, and it is considered one of the oldest educational systems in the Gulf region and was an important center in education and the first educational start expressing the community’s need for a group of intellectuals and learners that contribute to building and flourishing it, and this was accompanied by the establishment of the first government school for girls in 1928 and was also in the region and was also in the region. Muharraq, where Muharraq is then a beacon of science and education and a center for intellectuals in various fields, and do not forget that there are Bahraini homes and ancient families that also contributed to the educational renaissance of both sexes in the Kingdom and the region and reinforced cultural awareness such as Abdul Rahman Al -Ma’wed School (Al -Islah School) that was established in 1936 and it is one of the first private schools, while Al Zayani homes were open homes For education and had a clear role in the renaissance of education, these schools contributed to spreading knowledge and awareness and developing various skills, so the Bahraini society accepted education with great vigor, the government took it responsibility for education for everyone by establishing many schools in various Bahraini cities and villages. The demand for education in the Kingdom’s schools was not limited to the Bahrainis only, but some families in the countries of the region were keen to send their children to learn in Bahraini schools and benefit from the free education that was and is still open to all where the Kingdom was a flame for science, and this prompted many of the Gulf countries, including Bahrain, to ensure education and continue university study abroad at the time in Egypt, Iraq and Lebanon, and thus the formation of cultural awareness In the Kingdom and education became the first criterion for the quality of life. Education also led to the establishment of various societies, until civil society institutions became aware of the importance of enlightenment and had a positive impact in the educational renaissance of Bahrain and the spread of culture, so all of the above had a great role in the progress of the Kingdom today and its prosperity, as education is an essential and important element in the formation of the educated and informed Bahraini man who appreciates science and is keen to keep pace with the changes in many aspects, because it is completely aware of what is futile. From science, you rise, his homeland and his community.
