Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, chaired a meeting today, Tuesday evening, with members of the Consultative Committee for Export Development, in the presence of the team, the engineer of Kamel, the Minister, the Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development, Minister of Industry and Transport, Yasser Sobhi, Deputy Minister of Finance, Muhammad Al -Jusa’i, Assistant Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade for Planning, Development and Digital Transformation, Dr. Tariq Al -Shaarawi, Advisor to the Minister of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation, and the number of officials From the ministries.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Prime Minister pointed out to the previous meeting that he held with the members of the Consultative Committee for Export Development, and the review during this meeting a number of proposals related to a number of export sectors, as well as the requests that have been presented regarding the spinning, weaving and ready -made clothes industry related to providing lands for this industry, pointing out in this regard that the team is the full minister, presented this file during the cabinet meetings, and was already approved to launch Two cities are integrated for the textile industry, weaving and ready -made clothes, not a single city, in order to glorify the promising ingredients and capabilities we possess in this important sector.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister pointed to the perception of the new export burden program, stressing the government’s keenness to listen to various opinions related to the aspects of the application of this new program, to start its application to meet the aspirations of the export community, and contribute to the growth of export rates, in order to achieve the desired of this sector.

Kamel Al -Wazir, pointed out, during the meeting, that within the framework of the state’s interest in the spinning and weaving sector, two complementary cities were launched in the Wadi Al -Sailiriya region in Minya, and the industrial zone in northern Fayoum, and that the next few days will witness the delivery of lands to industrial developers, adding that with regard to the new program to return export burdens, a meeting will be held with the exporters, and reviews various aspects of the program The proposal, listen to their opinions and proposals on this new program.
In turn, members of the Consultative Committee for Export Development offered a number of important proposals that contribute to increasing export rates in 4 different commodity councils.
They also praised, during the meeting, the achievement of the government during the past ten years in many sectors, stressing that what has been accomplished in the infrastructure sector will have a very important impact in increasing export rates, noting also to the important role of reforms that have been made in the field of monetary policy reform, as well as the procedures implemented during the last period that contributed to the availability of more facilities for the various operations of customs release from production requirements, Noting that these measures have made a real difference regarding the speedy release of goods and production requirements, which would push the production wheel, and contribute to achieving more desired economic goals, but they demanded the need for a white list that includes the safe raw materials that the various manufacturing sectors need.
During the meeting, members of the committee presented a number of demands and proposals to include them within the new export support program, including extending support to include a number of sectors and other export areas that are not covered in the current program, as they indicated in this regard the necessity of unifying export support for all except for a negative list of a number of sectors.
Members of the Consulting Committee also called for the necessity of expediting the disbursement of the values of export support, and the addition of a new incentive to exports that go to the African market, as well as increase the exhibition incentive, with an additional support for factories in the tribal face, pointing out that the African market has very important export opportunities for Egyptian exporters, and there is ease of procedures, and the cost is low but on the other hand the cost of shipping is high, demanding this in this It is necessary to support Egyptian logistical and commercial centers in the African markets.
The attendees also noted the members of the committee to the opportunities available in the Iraqi market against the Egyptian exporters, as it is one of the promising markets, stressing the need to support shipping to the Iraqi market in the new program to return the export burdens, and in this context, the Prime Minister directed to study the possibility of allocating support for shipping to Africa and Iraq markets.
The members of the Consultative Committee also called for the importance of studying the corpse of the banking sector in the exchange of export support values, instead of the Export Support Fund, stressing the need for information databases updated on the various export sectors.
At the end of the meeting, the Prime Minister directed the presentation of the proposal of the new export burden program to the various members of the export councils before it was officially released, and that an expanded meeting be held with these members, in the presence of the relevant ministers, so that the necessary amendments can be made.
The Prime Minister also directed the necessity of providing clear data on the volume of production in all sectors to know the extent of the extent of a surplus of specific products, and thus allowing the establishment of new factories to manufacture these products or not, stressing the need for cooperation between export councils and government agencies concerned with the file of industry and export, pointing to the importance of formulating a legislative framework that obliges factories to provide clear data on their production volume, and stress that lack of commitment to this is These factories will be subjected to penalties.
The Prime Minister also directed to determine a white list of materials and production requirements that are imported for manufacturing purposes and then export, with the aim of accelerating the pace of customs release from these materials in what is known as the green path of these raw materials and materials.
The Prime Minister confirmed the study of the demands of the members of the Consultative Committee for Export Development that was presented today during the meeting, provided that another meeting will be held to know the position of implementing these demands after 3 weeks.
