Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, today continued the position of implementing a number of service and development projects in the New Valley Governorate, in a meeting held in the presence of Dr. Hani Swailem, Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation, Eng. Mahmoud Esmat, Minister of Electricity and Energy, Aladdin Farouk, Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, Major General Mohamed Zamalout, Governor of the New Valley, Major General Mahmoud Nassar, head of the Central Agency for Reconstruction Shamroukh, CEO of the National Communications Regulatory Agency, officials of the ministries and concerned authorities.
The position of implementing a number of service and development projects in the New Valley
Counselor Mohamed Al -Homsani, the spokesperson for the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, stated that the meeting witnessed a review of the executive position of a number of service and development projects witnessed in the New Valley Governorate in various sectors, as well as the efforts and steps made to improve the level of services provided to the people of the province.
The spokesperson pointed out that the meeting touched on a number of successful experiences that the New Valley Governorate witnessed in several sectors, including the measures taken by the governorate to provide facilities and infrastructure in various areas of development, as well as implementing the work of crops for a large side of crops successfully, and providing the requirements of this from drilling wells and providing equipment, along with fish production projects and exploitation of lakes.
Counselor Mohamed Al -Homsani pointed out that the position of projects implemented by the Central Development Agency in the New Valley Governorate has also been reviewed, and it was noted that the agency has been working since 2014 until now on the implementation of 82 projects in the governorate, including 25 road projects with a total length of about 1000 km, 45 services and facilities, and 12 housing projects, with a total of 2408 housing units that vary between social housing, random housing, housing for first families With care, Bedouin houses, where 62 projects were completed, including 19 road projects with a total length of 745 km, 32 services and facilities projects, and 11 housing projects with a total of 2216 housing units for various housing patterns, and the rest of the projects are completed.
