In a distinguished community initiative, the people of the village of Al -Taibah, which is affiliated with the Nabaruh Center in Dakahlia Governorate, donated a plot of land in favor of the establishment of a sewage raising station that serves the village, as part of the “Kitchen” project funded by the European Union and the European Investment Bank.

Eng. Khaled Hussein Nasr, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Drinking Water and Sewerage Company in Dakahlia, expressed his appreciation for this donation, stressing that it embodies a sophisticated model for community participation and popular awareness of the role of citizens in supporting infrastructure projects and basic services.
He explained that the lifting station to be established will contribute to the transportation of sewage from the village of Al -Tayyiba to the main treatment plant in the village of Bahout, within the framework of an integrated project to improve sewage services in the rural areas.
Nasr stressed that the project is receiving great attention from the state and all the concerned executive bodies, and it is pursued periodically to ensure its implementation according to the specified timetable, pointing to the company’s commitment to supporting community initiatives that represent a basic pillar of the success and sustainability of development projects.
