The delegation of the Parliamentary Division of the Kingdom of Bahrain participated today (Wednesday), in the work of the twenty -sixth session of the General Committee of the Council of Member States of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, held within the work of the nineteenth session of the Union Conference held in the capital, Jakarta, in the sisterly Republic of Indonesia during the period from 12 to 15 May, and titled “The Wise Ruling and the Strong Institutions … as a basis for steadfastness.”
The delegation of the Parliamentary Division was represented during the twenty -sixth session of the Federation’s General Committee, His Excellency Dr. Ali Ahmed Al -Haddad, member of the Shura Council, and His Excellency MP Jamil Mulla Hassan, member of the House of Representatives.
The course of the course witnessed the election of new members of the General Committee for the next session based on the anatoming submitted by the member councils for the Arab and African groups, while discussing the work program, and reviewed the report of the Secretary -General of the Federation that includes all activities of the Federation and participation in international and regional forums, data issued by the General Secretariat of the Federation, as well as data issued by member councils, as well as reviewing the review report on the accounts of the year 2024 AD, in addition to the Union’s budget for the year 2025 AD.
