Representative Abdel -Hakim Al -Shano revealed that the Ministry of Housing will stop updating data for the beneficiaries of the “Mezia” program, and the monthly installment will be fixed, indicating that the esteemed government has already decided to fix the prices of housing units and set a maximum for the monthly installment in the amount of 199 dinars for citizens who have direct housing units, regardless of the level of income, which has left a great positive impact on the lives of the beneficiaries, stressing that The beneficiaries of “advantages” are going through similar circumstances, which necessitated the demand for their equality in this fair policy.
Al -Shano appreciated the esteemed government’s response to the demands of deputies and citizens regarding the correction of the conditions of the beneficiaries of the “Mezia” program, and the abolition of the condition of renewing data every two years, which was burdened by their shoulders and raises their concern, stressing that the decision establishes a more stable stage for the Bahraini family through the stability of the month Two years or update data.
Representative Abdel -Hakim Al -Shano said that this step reflects a clear approach followed by the government, led by His Highness the Crown Prince, the Prime Minister, towards alleviating the burdens on the citizens and achieving housing security for a wide segment of Bahraini families, especially in light of the living and financial conditions that many citizens are going through, especially the beneficiaries of the “Mezia” program, which was appealed to find the necessary solutions to them through their equality with the rest of the housing programs.
Al -Shano added: “Today we can only bless the beneficiaries of this fair decision program, which exempt them from the fluctuations that affected their monthly installments, and gives them reassurance about the stability of their contributions without the need to update their data or increase the monthly installments whenever the salary rises.”
Representative Abdul Hakim Al -Shano also praised the vital role played by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, His Excellency Mr. Ahmed bin Salman Al -Muslim, in support of the proposal, in addition to the positions of members of the House of Representatives who strongly defended the rights of citizens and sought the survival of the housing installment of the beneficiaries of the Mazaya program.
Representative Abdel -Hakim Al -Shano praised the continuous efforts made by the Ministry of Housing headed by Mrs. Amna bint Ahmed Al -Rumaihi, towards providing housing services, and providing various solutions and new programs, in addition to preserving the service of housing units.
Al -Shano concluded his statement by confirming that the parliament will continue to work alongside the government in everything that would advance to find sustainable solutions to housing services and reduce the years of waiting for citizens to obtain housing units.
