Dr. Rahma bint Ibrahim Al -Mahrouqia, Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation in the Sultanate of Oman, received at the headquarters of the Ministry’s office, Dr. Juma bin Ahmed Al -Kaabi, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Sultanate of Oman, in the presence of the cultural advisor to the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Sultanate of Oman, and a number of ministry officials.
At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency the Minister welcomed the ambassador, praising the distinguished bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries, which is developing in all fields, especially in the field of education, scientific research and innovation, expressing her aspiration for more cooperation in activating the memorandum of understanding concluded between the two countries and the outputs of the Bahraini -Omani Committee.
For his part, the ambassador expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Minister for the warm reception, expressing his aspiration for the next stage to witness more transfer of leading experiences and exchange of experiences in the field of education, scientific research and innovation between the two countries, in implementation of the directives of the wise leadership with more rapprochement in order to integrate between the two brotherly countries.
During the meeting, the activation of cooperation was discussed, which was included in the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the two brotherly countries in the scientific and educational field, ways to develop joint cooperation in the centers of innovation and technology transfer in higher education institutions, and the academic accreditation system for higher education institutions was discussed, and the exchange of studies and scientific research between higher education institutions between the two brotherly countries.
