The Ministry of Education organized the closing ceremony of the school sports championships and festivals held in the academic year 2024/2025, in the presence of Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Jumaa, Minister of Education, and a number of officials of the Ministry and the sponsoring and cooperating bodies, and members of the working committees, at the Hotel and Resort (The Art).
At the beginning of the ceremony, the Minister of Education delivered a speech in which he praised the efforts made throughout the school year, in order to make various events, activities, programs and school sports competitions a success, expressing his thanks and appreciation to those in charge of the educational services sector in school affairs, in coordination with the sectors of the supportive ministry, and in fruitful cooperation with a group of sponsors and supporters from the institutions of the governmental and private sectors, embodying For active community partnership.
The Minister of Education affirmed the Ministry’s keenness to continuously expand in the field of school sport, by adding more games within its activities, and involving a larger segment of students from various educational levels, to enhance the role of these activities in providing clubs, teams and national federations with prominent student talents and energies.
The ceremony witnessed the honor of all sponsors and shareholders, starting with the working committees concerned with organizing various activities, in the forefront of which is the Supreme Committee represented by Professor Kuffa Habib Al -Anzour, Assistant Undersecretary for Educational Services, and Dr. Nader Mohamed Jamali, Director of the Department of Physical Education, along with members of technical committees, equipment, media, transportation, marketing, organizing, reception, nutrition, and rulers.
The cooperative and supportive authorities were also celebrated: the Ministry of Information, the General Authority for Sports, the Bahrain handball federation, the Bahrain Chess Federation, the high sports club, the Al -Ittihad Sports Club, the Al -Najma Sports Club, Al -Ahly Sports Club, Isa Sports Club, the Gulf News newspaper, and the Al -Ayyam newspaper.
As for the honored shepherds, it included the Platinum level: Gulf Bank, National Bank of Kuwait, Gulf Petrochemical Industry Company, and at the Golden Level: Veers Motor Company, Bahrain Alam Company, Palace Projects Company, Bahrain Cinema Company, Corve Media International, Royal Bahrain Hospital, Primor Motor; At the bronze level: the National Transport Company, the Arte Art and Resort and Resort, Bahrain Water and Beverage Mobilization Company, the PC and the Libero Sports Foundation.
The ceremony also included a presentation that brought together representative, exhibition and video scenes, with the participation of a number of students and students of public and private schools, during which glimpses of tournaments and events implemented during the school year were presented.
