The Minister of Development: An official decision to register “the quality of professional life”

The Minister of Social Development, Osama Al -Alawi, announced the issuance of an official decision to register the “Professional Life Quality Association” in a record of social and cultural societies and clubs, noting that the association has acquired the legal personality from the date of publishing its registration decision in the Official Gazette, according to the provisions of Resolution 2 of 1990 concerned with organizing the registration record.

The decision indicated that the association will be taken from Office No. 11, Road 4114, Complex 941 in the Riffa -Al -Bair area and its headquarters and its administration.

He stressed that the association is not permitted to work in politics or enter into financial speculation, and no member has the right to join, participate, or join any association, body, club, or union based outside the Kingdom of Bahrain without obtaining prior permission from the Ministry of Social Development.

He explained that the Vocational Life Quality Association aims to enhance the concepts of functional life, by encouraging and qualifying individuals to follow methods that enhance job well -being, and devote respect for the principle of professional behavior, as well as spreading awareness of the importance of a health balance between work and personal life, adding that the association also seeks to support innovation and teamwork and create a positive work environment.

Al -Alawi pointed out that the association will depend in achieving its goals on multiple means, including preparing research and studies, organizing programs, seminars and cultural forums, in addition to issuing a special magazine in the name of the association, and cooperation with professional societies and institutions locally and globally. He indicated that the activities targeted by the association include social and awareness fields, and that the association’s statute has set conditions for membership, including that the member be good conduct and behavior, and that his age should not be less than eighteen years of age, and that he has a good educational level according to the approved regulations.

He explained that the statute defined the rights and duties of members, and the mechanisms of joining, withdrawing and chapter, as well as the right to grievance from the decisions of separation before the General Assembly.

He stressed that the General Assembly represents the supreme authority in drawing the association’s policy and monitoring its implementation, explaining its regular and unusual mechanisms, the required legal quorum, and voting methods.

He also pointed out that the board of directors consists of eleven members who are elected by the General Assembly for a period of two years, renewable, and they are elected through a direct secret polling, as the Council represents the executive authority that undertakes the implementation of the general policy drawn by the General Assembly, and holds its meetings on a monthly basis.

Regarding the financial resources of the association, the minister revealed that the statute specified its sources in the joining and contribution fees, and the donations and donations authorized to accept, in addition to the revenues resulting from the various activities carried out by the association, while emphasizing the necessity of the approval of the competent authorities in advance of these activities.

This also includes profits resulting from investing the association’s funds within the framework of the laws in force, and any other resources approved by the Ministry of Social Development.

The Minister’s decision stressed the importance of organizing the association’s financial records and books, indicating that its financial year starts from the first of January, and ends on December 31 of each year, provided that the first fiscal year begins from the date of the association’s registration in the Official Gazette if it is not in January, with the need to adhere to the approved financial regulations.

He concluded that the statute clarified the mechanisms of financial control and auditing, and showed the procedures for amending the statute, or integrating or dividing the association, in addition to the rules for dissolving the association, whether the solution is optional or compulsory, and the authorities to which the association’s funds are transferred after the liquidation, indicating that the Ministry of Social Development will determine those entities in the event that the remaining funds are not possible according to the nature of the association’s work.

It should be noted that the founding members of the association are: Ahmed Al -Bani, Ahmed Al -Zayani, Bushra Al -Hindi, Jassim Al Majid, Ammar Radhi, Jamil Hassan, Abdullah Al Hamid, Nada Ali, Muhammad Al -Faraji, Mashary Al -Shalhoub, and Muhammad Al -Zahar.
