The Ministry of Education in Saudi Arabia has announced the launch of the National Platform for Unified Admission, “Application”, https://www.uap.sa/ One of the strategic initiatives; To enhance digital transformation in education, and to unify admission procedures in universities and educational bodies, to ensure equal opportunities between male and female students in all regions of Saudi Arabia.
The platform aims to facilitate the experience of university admission through a unified and comprehensive digital portal, which enables students to choose their specializations based on accurate and updated data, and according to their tendencies and capabilities, through smart tools that support academic decision -making in an environment characterized by transparency, competitiveness and reliability.
The platform covers 28 government educational bodies, which include 26 universities, in addition to the General Organization for Technical and Vocational Training, and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques program for external scholarships, the “supply” path for the undergraduate stage.
The platform integrates with several government agencies; To ensure the quality of data and its retrieval from its official sources, which enhances the reliability of the system, and contributes to the ease of use and the accuracy of procedures, it also represents a supporting tool for decision makers and university employees, as it provides instantaneous data and analytical reports that contribute to the development of the admission system, and enhances the efficiency of absorptive energy planning and university seats management.
