His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the king of the country, may God protect and preserve him, received this day at the Sakhir Palace, His Excellency President Ahmed Al -Shara, President of the sisterly Syrian Arab Republic and the accompanying delegation, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him, on the occasion of his luxury visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Upon the arrival of His Excellency the President of the Guest to the Sakhir Palace, His Excellency the Excellencies and Happiness shook hands with the Bahraini side, and His Majesty the great king shook hands with the members of the official delegation accompanying his Excellency.
After that, His Majesty, the Great King, welcomed the luxury of the Syrian President, wishing him success in achieving the hopes and aspirations of the brotherly Syrian people.
His Excellency expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Majesty, the great king of generosity and good reception, and the positions of the Kingdom of Bahrain towards Syria and its people.
His Majesty reviewed with His Excellency the aspects of bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and the chances of strengthening them in various fields, as well as discussing developments in the regional situation and the efforts made on them.
The developments of the events were also discussed on the Syrian scene and the ways to support the security and stability of Syria.
