His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the king of the country, may God protect and preserve him this day, met his brother His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the sisterly United Arab Emirates at the residence of His Majesty in Abu Dhabi.
During the meeting, His Majesty and His Highness the President of the United Arab Emirates exchanged the friendly fraternal conversations that express the close ties that bring together the Kingdom of Bahrain and the UAE and their two brotherly peoples and the mutual keenness to continue to enhance their cooperation in a way that serves the priorities of development and contributes to achieving the sustainable prosperity of the two countries.
The meeting also touched on the current developments taking place in the Middle East and a number of regional and international issues in common concern.
The meeting was attended by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the Presidential Bureau for Special Affairs, and His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Advisor to the President of the State, and senior officials from both sides.
