The Council of Private Universities, during its periodic meeting headed by Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, approved the establishment of four new colleges at the University of Innovation, in principle, while emphasizing the fulfillment of all the required legal procedures.
The proposed new colleges include:-
College of Medicine
College of Oral and Dental Medicine
College of Pharmacy
College of Applied Health Science Technology
The meeting was held at the headquarters of Egypt University of Science and Technology in the city of 6th of October, in the presence of Dr. Abdel Wahab Ezzat, Secretary General of the Council, and a number of university presidents and members of the council.
The Minister also directed to increase the participation of private universities in development projects to meet the challenges of Egyptian society, in cooperation with the presidential initiative “a decent life”, and he also praised the efforts of universities in implementing the presidential initiative “a new start to build human”, and to provide many development services in various regions to serve citizens.
The Minister also stressed the importance of the universities implementing, expanding sports, artistic and social activities, and supporting sports and artistic talents, during the end of the current academic year, directed to the need to use the leave period in conducting maintenance work required by university laboratories and installations.
