Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, received Sir Magdy Yaqoub, the Egyptian international heart surgeon, at the Special Education Building in New Cairo.
Provide the best for the Egyptian patient
During the meeting, the Minister welcomed Dr. Magdy Yaqoub, expressing his great appreciation for the great contributions he made during his wealthy medical and human care, which represents a source of pride for every Egyptian, praising the valuable achievements he made, and his recent achievement in developing heart valves.
For his part, Dr. Magdy Yaqoub stressed the work to provide the best of the Egyptian patient from all levels, in a way that contributes to providing health service to all, noting that the heart center in Aswan is interested in integrating scientific research in addition to providing treatment services, to achieve the greatest benefit and provide proper health care.
He valued the state’s efforts to provide health services within the sustainable development plan, noting the role of university hospitals in supporting the medical system by providing treatment, research and training.
Earlier, Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, met Juergen Schultz, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany in Cairo; To discuss ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries.
At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Ayman Ashour affirmed the depth of the relations that bring together the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Federal Republic of Germany, stressing Egypt’s constant interest in advancing and consolidating these relations by expanding joint cooperation agreements in all fields, especially in the areas of higher education and scientific research.
