Engineer Ayman Attia, the Governor of Qaliubiya, received today, Ambassador Askar Genes, the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Cairo, on a friendly visit aimed at enhancing cooperation and developing bilateral relations between Qalyubia and the state of Kazakhstan.

This visit comes within the framework of the interest of the Egyptian political leadership, led by President Abdel Fattah El -Sisi, in strengthening and developing Egyptian Kazakh relations and exploring aspects of cooperation in various fields between the two friendly countries.
During the meeting, which was held at the Governorate General Court, the two sides discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation, with a focus on the possibility of concluding a twinning agreement between the city of Qalioub, one of the cities of Qaliubiya Governorate, and one of the cities of Kazakh. This proposal comes as a successful twinning agreement concluded by Qalyubia Governorate with a Azerbaijani city, which has proven effective in exchanging experiences and knowledge.
The Governor of Qaliubiya welcomed the Kazakhsani ambassador and his accompanying delegation, confirming Egypt’s appreciation and pride in its friendship with the state and people of Kazakhstan, which is clearly evident in the meetings and communications exchanged between the two countries.
For his part, Ambassador Askar Genes and his accompanying delegation thanked the Governor of Qaliubiya for the good hosting and the generosity of the reception, praising the general supervision of the arrangements of the visit, which contributed to showing it the appropriate civilizational appearance of the Egyptian state.
At the end of the meeting, memorial shields were exchanged between the governor and the ambassador, as an expression of the depth of friendly relations between the two sides. Ambassador Genes invited the governor of Qaliubiya to visit the state of Kazakhstan, stressing the importance of continuing communication and building bridges of cooperation between the two countries.
