The first Egyptian reader to recite the Qur’an in the Kaaba .. 18 stations of Sheikh Al -Tablawi on the anniversary of his death

Today, Monday, May 5, 2025, marks the anniversary of the death of Sheikh Muhammad Mahmoud Al -Tablawi, the Sheikh of the readers, the captain of the conservative and former Holy Qur’an, which was born on the fourteenth of November 1934.

On the anniversary of his birth, Cairo reviews the 24 most prominent stations in the life of Sheikh Al -Tablawi, which the late writer Mahmoud Al -Saadani described as the last of the remaining generation of the Egyptian Qur’an.

18 stations in the life of Sheikh Al -Tablawi:

Sheikh Al -Tablawi was born on November 14, 1934.

His hometown, Mit Aqaba neighborhood, Giza Governorate.

He completed the full memorization of the Noble Qur’an at the age of ten.

He married at the age of sixteen.

The first wage he received was five piasters from the mayor of his village.

His career continued to recite the Qur’an for more than fifty years.

He visited more than eighty countries around the world.

He got married three times and had 13 children.

The Sheikh of Al -Azhar called the Institute of Tala Al -Azhari.

The late writer Mahmoud Al -Saadani described it as the last symbol of the old Egyptian Quran readers.

He was distinguished by his unique style in reciting the Qur’an, and he was the first Egyptian reader to recite the Qur’an inside the Kaaba’s hollow.

He got a medal from Lebanon during the celebration of the Night of Power.

It is one of the most prominent flags of the state of the Holy Qur’an.

He was invited to revive the condolences of senior officials, prominent personalities and well -known families.

It was nicknamed the phenomenon of the times.

He served as captain of the Egyptian readers.

He suffered a long struggle with illness in his late life.

He died on the fifth of May 2020 at the age of eighty -six years.
