In statements to Cairo 24, Counselor Mohamed Abdou Saleh, Chairman of the Grievance Committee, explained that the committee’s decision not to consider the grievances of the three clubs came based on the text of Article 63-2 on the league regulations issued by the Club Association, which fortifies the decisions issued by the Board of Directors of the Association according to the decisions of that article.
For his part, Counselor Tariq Al -Nafrawi, Vice -Chairman of the Grievance Committee, explained that the league clubs, including the three clubs Al -Ahly, Zamalek and Pyramids, agreed to the league championship list in writing, and among those regulations is the article on which the League Council relied in its decision issued on March 30, and therefore the clubs have knowledge that the decisions issued by the Association of the League in accordance with that article are fortified decisions and non -stabbing.
Counselor Tariq Al -Nafrawi indicated that the grievance committee did not interfere in the issue of complaints, but rather looked according to the regulations and the extent of conformity of the decisions of the competitions management and the Association of Regulations.
Commenting on the questions of some about the reason for the length of the complaint period, Counselor Tariq Al -Nafrawi explained that the committee in its first session listened to the requests of complaints, and in the second session the pleadings of the legal representative of each party were heard, and in the third session today, Taha Ezzat, director of the competitions department of the Club Association, was heard and decisions were issued, stressing that the complaint procedures went according to the customary sequence in the work of the committee As an independent judicial committee.
