Israel and the United States carried out a series of large air strikes targeting vital sites in Al Hudaydah Governorate, west of Yemen, in an unprecedented escalation in response to missile attacks launched by the Houthi group on Israel during the past two days.
A high -ranking Israeli official confirmed to the 12 Hebrew channel, that more than 30 Israeli war aircraft participated in the implementation of the operation, which focused on the port of Hodeidah and nearby factories, including facilities for the manufacture of cement and concrete.
According to reports, Israeli aircraft dropped about 48 shells on multiple targets, between six to eight waves of attacks.
The coordination between the Israeli and American sides included the sharing of the attack areas, as Israel focused its operations on the port of Hodeidah, while the American forces carried out strikes in the Sanaa region.

The attack came a day after the Houthis launched a ballistic missile targeting Ben -Gurion Airport near Tel Aviv, wounding six people, in addition to two pancakes.
Regarding the damages of the attack on Ben -Gurion Airport, a preliminary investigation revealed that the Houthi missile escaped from the Hitts 3 and the American, which was considered a security source the first failure of its kind since the resumption of the fighting.
