The editor -in -chief of Al -Arab newspaper, Haitham Al -Zubaidi, died on Saturday, at the age of sixty -one years.
Al -Zubaidi, along with the editor -in -chief of Al -Arab newspaper, also held the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Al -Zubaidi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the University of Baghdad, and the master’s and doctorate degrees from Imperial College, University of London.
Al -Zubaidi continued to write his weekly article in the newspaper “Al -Arab”, and was known for his interest in cultural and political affairs, and his writings in various other fields.
Al -Arab said on its website, that Al -Zubaidi is the second founder of the newspaper that was established in 1977.
The newspaper pointed out that Al -Zubaidi succeeded in establishing unconventional liberation mechanisms that provide the reader to benefit and add.
