The delegation of the Parliamentary Division of the Kingdom of Bahrain participated in the closing session of the work of the third edition of the Parliamentary Economic Forum for the Mediterranean Parliament, which was held in the Moroccan city of Marrakech during the period 23-24 May this year.
The closing session of the forum witnessed a general discussion on artificial intelligence and the governance of its use: strengthening parliamentary oversight, and in another session, the International Royal Initiative was reviewed to facilitate the access of the coast countries to the Atlantic Ocean: a strategic and innovative vision for peace, security and joint development
During the forum, the overall economic prospects for the euro and Gulf region were studied, and the transformations of international trade and financing in the Mediterranean region and the Arab Gulf, and in the same context, discussed “energy transformation, adjustment and energy security: strategic options” as well as reviewing eternal pollutants and their impact on human health.
The participation of the delegation of the Parliamentary Division in the Marrakesh Economic Forum comes within the framework of the parliamentary division in the Kingdom of Bahrain to enhance cooperation with international parliamentary organizations, and to believe in the active role of the Mediterranean Parliament, and all parliamentary alliances, and based on the pillars of the wise Bahraini diplomatic policy based on the principles of balance, moderation and openness, in light of the royal directives from His Majesty the King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the Great Country, may God protect and preserve him, and support and follow -up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, may God protect him.
It is worth noting that the delegation of the Parliamentary Division is headed by Ahmed bin Salman Al -Muslim, Chairman of the House of Representatives.
