Counselor Shaaban Abdul Rahman Muhammad Al -Shami graduated from Ain Shams College with a “very good” grade in 1975, to be appointed as a prosecutor in 1976, then he was promoted in 1981 for the position of president of a prosecution, then he was transferred to work as a judge in the courts of first instance and then returned again to the Public Prosecution, as head of the North Cairo Prosecution, then he worked as a consultant to the Courts of Appeal, then in criminal courts since 2002.
Since joining the judiciary, Al -Shami worked on a number of important cases, so he began his career with one of the most important issues that were known as the “hungry revolution” that Sadat then called the “Thief Revolution”, on January 18 and 1977, and he also undertook an investigation into the issue of “sectarian strife” in the red angle in 1981, then the issue of “Passed Church in Shubra” in 1981 when the defendants from Islamic groups threw a bomb on The church, as he achieved in the case called “sectarian strife” at the Sinnuras Police Station in Fayoum.
In 1994, Al -Shami’s first consultant was to deal with technology in the field of judiciary, introduced all the cases he circulated and issued a computer rulings.
Counselor Shaban Al -Shami separated a number of issues that occupied public opinion, and among the most important issues is the trial of the isolated President Mohamed Morsi and a number of members of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood, by communicating with foreign organizations, escaping from Wadi Al -Natroun prison, and release former President Mohamed Hosni Mubarak in the case of illegal gain.
