This came the decision of the Minister of Education and Technical Education, after his meeting with the Board of Directors of the International Schools Association, with the aim of completing the necessary preparations and teaching the curricula effectively.

- The duration of the new academic year is 36 school weeks.
- The number of actual school days is 172 days, of which 88 days for the first semester and 84 days for the second semester.

- The first semester exams for transportation classes begin on Saturday, January 10, 2026.
- The second semester begins on Saturday, February 7, 2026, to Thursday, June 11, 2026.
