The association concerned with authors and composers decided to refer the composer Baha Hosni to the investigation, after it was proven that he was using a fake certificate in the complaint incident submitted against the artist Hussein Al Jasmi.

According to an official statement issued by the association, an official complaint from Hosni was already received against Al Jasmi, and was referred to a specialized technical committee in accordance with the procedures followed. However, the surprise came after the spread of an incorrect formula for the committee’s decision on some news sites and communication platforms, which it was later turned out to be distorted and was never presented to the board of directors.
The statement pointed out that this forged formulation was prepared by the member himself – in reference to Bahaa Hosni – where he circumvented one of the employees to obtain the association’s seal and the signatures of some members of the committee, which was considered a behavior contrary to the list and a beating of forgery.
Accordingly, the president of the association, Dr. Medhat Al -Adl, decided to refer the composer Baha Hosni and all those who prove his involvement from the employees in this incident, to the immediate investigation, stressing that the association will not tolerate any violation of the institutional system or illegal exploitation of its name and slogans.
At the end of its statement, the association affirmed its full keenness on transparency and impartiality in dealing with all complaints and conflicts, and its full commitment to preserving the rights of its members without any discrimination.
