Eng. Adel Al -Najjar, Governor of Giza, announced the completion of the preparation of the general strategic plans for all cities and villages of the governorate, which includes 11 cities and 160 villages, as part of the governorate’s efforts to achieve comprehensive urban development and regulate population and urban growth.

The Governor of Giza added that the detailed plan for 9 cities was completed, which are “Kerdasa, Al -Ayat, Al -Qanater, Osim, Al -Hawamdiya, Al -Badrashin, Atfih, Al -Saf, and Abu Al -Nomros” in addition to 159 villages in coordination with the relevant authorities.
The urban estate and general strategic plans of 83 villages are being updated, which are villages of the centers of “Al -Ayyat, Al -Badrashin, Al -Hawamdiya, and Al -Qanater facility”.
The General Authority for Urban Planning also updates the rest of the villages of the governorate centers, “Abu Al -Nomros, Al -Saf, Atfih, Kerdasa, Osim, and Maritime Oasis, with 76 villages.
The governor explained that the detailed plan for the city of Giza and the city of Al -Bawati in the marine oases, along with the village of Al -Aqbawi, affiliated to the Al -Qanater facility center, is being completed to ensure that these plans are compatible with the requirements of development and the service of citizens.
The Governor of Giza affirmed that the adoption of detailed strategic plans and urban possession comes within the framework of the state’s efforts in organizing construction work, eliminating slums and violating construction and contributing to the creation of urban and population development and ensuring commitment to structural and planning requirements and the provisions of Law 119 of 2008.
The Governor of Giza pointed out that the rules of social, economic and urban development have been taken into account for citizens, taking into account the planning and urban development in the future in a manner commensurate with the next stage and with the sustainable development plan and Egypt’s 2030 vision, which has great care and attention from the political leadership because of its importance in providing a better life for citizens.
The governor stressed the necessity of implementing the plans in accordance with the approved standards and foundations, stressing the General Administration of Urban Planning and Development in the governorate and all the concerned authorities to take the necessary measures to implement these detailed plans, each in its regard.
