The Coast Guard Command held the graduation ceremony of the participants in the founding session of the Naval Sciences of the Women’s Police, in the presence of Major General Mona Abdel Rahim, Director General of the General Administration of Women Police, and Sheikha Mashael Bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, Assistant Undersecretary for Planning and Organization.
On this occasion, the Director General of the General Administration of Women Police praised the role of the Coast Guard leadership in preparing and training for the course that aims to qualify the posts to deal efficiently and professionally with various circumstances and positions in the marine environment, reflecting the strategic trend that the pillars of the team first laid the first of His Excellency Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of the Interior, and aimed at developing the human element and enhancing the readiness of all employees of the ministry in various disciplines.
For his part, the Acting Coast Guard Commander stressed the importance of enabling the female component in the maritime security field, as it is one of the main pillars in developing and updating law enforcement capabilities in the sea and on the coast, indicating that this type of training contributes directly to raising the efficiency of performance and achieving advanced levels of readiness and response.
It is worth noting that the founding session of the Naval Sciences of Women Police has participated in a number of members of the Special Security Force, the Royal Police Academy, the Southern Governorate Police Directorate, and the Maritime Ports Police.
