BYD intends Byd The Chinese Electric Car Manufacturing Establishing a European Center in Hungary, according to CEO Wang Chawanfo.
The Chinese company BYD plans to create a European center in Hungary
The announcement came at a press conference held in Budapest in the presence of Hungarian Prime Minister Victor Urban, according to Reuters.
The new center will provide 2000 job opportunities, and will serve as a sales, post -sales, testing and BYD sales center.
The first European manufacturer of BYD was established, a factory for assembling electric buses, in Kumarom, northwest of Hungary, in April 2017.
The bus production complex, which has an area of 66,000 square meters, produces bus structures for UK and France factories, and the factory has produced 700 electric buses until September 2024.
A second factory dedicated to the production of electric vehicles is currently being created in Hungary.
The project will be implemented in stages, and it is expected to provide many job opportunities in the region, which stimulates the local economy and benefits the close suppliers.
