The Chairman of the Shura Council praised the prominent role played by the esteemed government, headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, may God protect him, in implementing the directives of His Majesty the King, may God bless him, by supporting diplomatic initiatives and enhancing bilateral and multilateral relations, which reflects the Kingdom’s constant commitment to active participation in international efforts aimed at achieving global peace and prosperity.
The Chairman of the Shura Council pointed to the deep dimensions and the forward -looking view of the speech of His Highness the Crown Prince, the Prime Minister, may God protect him, which directed it to the opening summit between the Cooperation Council for the Arab Gulf States and the Association of Southeast Asian countries (ASEAN) and the People’s Republic By working to embody a common vision through which the establishment and implementation of initiatives and projects targeting security, food, energy, technology, tourism and educational investment, and other fields, to meet the common goals.
The Speaker of the Shura Council indicated that the Kingdom of Bahrain proved through the speech addressed by His Highness the Crown Prince, the Prime Minister, may God protect him, followed up on all the developments and changes on the regional and international arenas, and its serious determination in harnessing the outcomes of the strategic dialogue between the countries of the Cooperation Council and the Asian countries to win opportunities that pave the way more towards stability and sustainable prosperity of the brotherly and friendly countries.
The Chairman of the Shura Council stressed that the legislative authority, through the Shura Council, continues its support for the foreign policy of the Kingdom, and seeks to enhance parliamentary cooperation with legislative councils in brotherly and friendly countries, and expresses a permanent commitment to providing all means of legislative support supporting the executive authority in a way that helps it implement its foreign policies, noting in this aspect the support of the Kingdom of Bahrain for the joint cooperation plan between the Cooperation Council and Asian for the period 2024-2028 AD, and the Kingdom’s position in support of the release of negotiations for the free trade agreement between the two sides.
