The Capital Governorate, in cooperation with the Executive Office of the National Committee for Civil Emergency Management and the Volunteer Life Team, held an exhibition entitled “The National Platform for Civil Protection and Life Support” to introduce the platform and enhance awareness of health and safety and deal with emergency in the Ashura season, in the presence of His Excellency Mr. Hassan Abdullah Al -Madani, Deputy Governor of the Capital, and a number of representatives of security departments, civil society institutions and volunteers.
The organization of the program comes within the framework of the Capital Governorate’s keenness to enhance societal awareness regarding public health and safety, and to coordinate efforts between the relevant authorities to secure the Ashura season, and to ensure field readiness to deal with cases that may occur during the season, which contributes to providing a safe environment for all.
The program witnessed a practical review of the various aspects
Fire extinguishers, smoke and heat reagents, communication mechanisms to provide communications and the system of ambulance management, in addition to displaying the training equipment used in the rehabilitation of volunteers on first aid, in addition to a detailed explanation about the first aid steps.
