The delegations participating in the Paralympic International Championship for Featist – Bahrain 2025 began arriving at the Kingdom of Bahrain during the period from 11 to 13 May 2025, in preparation for the launch of the official competitions scheduled from May 13 to 18 on the ground of the Issa bin Rashid sports hall (Al -Salad D). This tournament is held with a joint organization between the Bahraini Paralympic Committee, the Bahraini Federation of Featory Featist and Squash.
The tournament is witnessing a wide participation of 16 countries, and with more than 90 players and players with determination, which gives this sporting event special importance and reflects the increasing growth of interest in Paralympic sports in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The delegations continued have expressed their deep appreciation of the level of distinguished preparations that they touched on the ground, whether with regard to advanced infrastructure or the exact logistical and regulatory aspects. The delegations praised the great efforts made by the Organizing Committee to provide an ideal and integrated competitive climate for all the participants, which reflects the readiness of the Kingdom of Bahrain and its constant keenness to host sporting events efficiently and competently.
For its part, the organizing committee welcomed all the participating delegations warmly, stressing the Kingdom’s relentless endeavor to present an exceptional version of this tournament, in a way that establishes its position as a leading destination in organizing the Paralympic championships at an international level. The committee also emphasized that this important sporting event represents a valuable opportunity to highlight the capabilities and capabilities of athletes with determination, and to support the active sports tourism sector in Bahrain, in addition to enhancing constructive cooperation frameworks with the various international federations concerned with Paralympic sports.
