Sheikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United States of America, participated in the joint meeting between the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council and Mexico, which was held through visual communication technology, with the participation of Excellencies and Excellency the ambassadors of the Cooperation Council states and representatives of the United States of Mexican.
During the meeting, the ambassador pointed to the promising economic elements of the Gulf Cooperation Council states, the expansion of the regional market and the expected positive growth rates, as His Excellency stressed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s keenness to enhance international cooperation and expand the prospects for economic and diplomatic cooperation with the United States of Mexican, adding that the Kingdom of Bahrain has a strategic geographical location that makes it an ideal gateway to trade and investment in the region and international trade between East and West.
During the meeting, the participants stressed the importance of strengthening multilateral relations between the countries of the Cooperation and Mexico Council, through three major strategic axes that included political and strategic dialogue, economic cooperation, and communication between peoples, in a way that contributes to the consolidation of joint cooperation frameworks and the promotion of bilateral and multilateral partnerships between the two sides. The participants also praised the progress achieved by the Cooperation Council countries in the political, economic and development fields, also pointing to the role of the pivotal council in consolidating the foundations of security and regional stability and enhancing interaction with various countries of the world, and the importance of such meetings in opening new horizons for joint cooperation, consolidating mutual understanding, and strengthening sustainable partnerships between the Cooperation Council and friendly countries.
