Professor Shaima Abbas Murad, a teacher of art education, initiated the decoration of her school, Umm Kulthum, for girls, with 82 murals distributed on various school buildings, and contained various national, educational and educational contents.
The teacher said that she is proud of this achievement that she achieved during her years of work in this school, after she employed her artistic talent in order to develop the school environment, and to give a beautiful artistic splendor to it, noting that the most prominent murals that she implemented are a design of the beloved of the beloved Kingdom of Bahrain, with an explanation of the site of the most important national landmarks, which contributes to supporting social material lessons.
The murals also dealt with important values such as national affiliation, tolerance, coexistence, peace, dialogue, cooperation, respect, and responsibility, which enhances the curriculum of education for citizenship, this is in addition to drawings that simplify mathematics concepts, others embody the lessons of science, and a third summarizes the concepts of Arabic and English.
In turn, the headmaster of the school, Professor Najat Muhammad Al -Ansari, praised this qualitative effort, saying: “What was done by Professor Shaima exceeds the limits of art.
The student, Hanin Ali, said: “Every mural I see as a story that tells, and some of it helped me understand more my lessons. I found pleasure in contemplating the mural of the vegetable and animal cell for science, as the professor drew it with details and colors that made the lesson firmly in my mind.”
As for the student Zainab Reda, she indicated her admiration for various murals, especially those that include what is related to the angles and engineering, as mathematics showed in a beautiful and beloved template.
This comes within the qualitative initiatives of national cadres in various public schools, under the supervision and encouragement of the Ministry of Education.
