A recent study, conducted on 1161 people over the age of 55, revealed that drinking coffee may help maintain muscle strength and reduce the risk of falling age.

Experts found that coffee consumption is linked to a low risk of weakness, which is a state of muscle weakness and severe fatigue that increases the possibility of falling, and is honest with recovery from diseases and injuries.

The results showed that the people who drank a cup to 3 cups of coffee per day, witnessed a decrease of 64% at the risk of weakening compared to those who drank less.

Professor Margaret Etithov, from the University of Freeji in Amsterdam, said that the exact reasons for this benefit are not yet clear, but believed that the antioxidants present in the coffee may be the main cause of this positive effect.

Previous studies conducted on mice show that coffee may contribute to reducing age -related muscle loss. Coffee also contains chemicals that may help get rid of old cells and stimulate muscle growth, which enhances their health and strength.
