Ahmed bin Salman Al -Muslim, Speaker of the House of Representatives, affirmed that the Gulf Cooperation Council constitutes the system of strategic partnership for the prosperous future of the countries and peoples of the Gulf states, in light of the patronage of His Majesty and His Highness the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council states, may God protect and preserve them.
Praising the keenness and attention of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the king of the country, may God protect and preserve him, and the efforts and follow -up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, may God protect him, in developing Gulf cooperation and supporting development projects, based on close relations, goal unity and common destiny.
He pointed out that the parliaments and Gulf legislative councils support the development of the Gulf cooperation system, and seek to coordinate positions and unify efforts in external parliamentary forums, defend the interests of the Gulf states, and achieve all the goodness and benefit of the Gulf peoples and future generations.
This came during the congratulatory telegram sent by the Speaker of the House of Representatives to Mr. Jassim Muhammad Al -Badawi, Secretary -General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, on the occasion of the forty -fourth anniversary of the establishment of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf. Calling on the Almighty to return this occasion to His Majesty and His Highness the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council states, may God protect and preserve them, and to the Gulf people with more progress, development and prosperity.
