Major General Abdel -Fattah Siraj, the governor of Sohag, issued a decision to form a specialized committee to examine all documents, works, contracts and activities for the “Local Club”, which was in the context of his keenness to achieve the principles of transparency and integrity, and to follow up the proper functioning of various institutions.

In its membership, the committee includes a representative of the Financial Directorate in Sohag as Chairman, membership of each of the representative of the Directorate of Youth and Sports, a member of the General Administration of Internal Review and Governance at the Governorate General Court, a member of the General Administration of Legal Affairs, and a member of the General Administration of Financial and Administrative Affairs, in addition to a member of the Field Follow -up Department, provided that the committee has the assistance of those it deems appropriate to perform its work.
The committee undertakes the work of examining documents and financial and administrative data, and reviewing the contracts and activities that were implemented within the local club during the last period, to submit a detailed report on the results of its work and recommendations to the governor within 10 days of the start of its work.
The governor affirmed that this procedure comes within the framework of the governorate’s endeavor to enhance the principles of governance and transparency, and ensure the optimal managing public resources, in a manner that achieves the public good and preserves the rights of citizens, and guarantees the lack of manipulation or job deviation within any institution in the governorate.
