Sharjah: “The Gulf” The Social Association organized a specialized virtual scientific symposium titled “Digital Sociology”, and was presented by Dr. Inaam Youssef, Associate Professor of Sociology at the Faculty of Humanities and Sciences at Ajman University and a member of the Social Association. The symposium was moderated by Dr. Muhammad Hamdan bin Jerash, a member of the association’s board of directors and Chairman of the Cultural Committee, who started the meeting with an opening speech in which he dealt with the importance of keeping pace with the accelerated digital developments and their repercussions on human societies in their present and future. The symposium witnessed a remarkable qualitative presence that included a number of members of the Board of Directors and members of the Social Association, along with a group of researchers and those interested in sociology.
