The governments of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the State of Kuwait announced that the joint abundance operations were able to discover a new petroleum for the field (North Al -Wafra Wara -Burqan), which is located 5 km north of the Al -Wafra field, where the oil poured into the (wohr) in the well of the north of Al -Wafra (Warra Burgan – 1) at a rate of amounts exceeding 500 barrels per day, and with a degree of density (26-27 API).
The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said: “This discovery is the first since the resumption of production operations in the divided area and the submerged area adjacent to the divided region in the middle of 2020 AD, and it is of great importance, due to the positive impact it carries that reflects on the position of the two countries and their timing in supplying the world with energy and their ability in the exploration and production sector.”
