The Chairman of the Financial and Economic Affairs Committee in the House of Representatives, Ahmed Al -Salloum, raised the highest verses of congratulations and blessings to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the country, and to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and to all nursing cadres in the Kingdom of Bahrain, on the occasion of the International Nursing Day, which falls on May 12 every year, appreciating the great role played by the distinguished nursing cadres in preserving health The safety of citizens and residents, and enhancing the quality of health services in the Kingdom.
He stressed that the Bahraini nursing staff proved its high efficiency in various circumstances, and he had a pivotal role in addressing the health challenges that the Kingdom witnessed during the past years, noting that nursing represents one of the main pillars in building an advanced and effective health system.
Al -Salloum called for strengthening the partnership between educational and health institutions, to graduate more qualified national competencies, in line with the goals of sustainable development and Bahrain’s economic and social vision, stressing that investing in young Bahraini energies in all disciplines and professions, including the nursing profession is an investment in the future of public health in the Kingdom.
