Dr. Khaled Abdel Halim, Governor of Qena, visited this morning, Monday, the paving and duplication of the Luxor – Qena road, accompanied by Major General Arkan Harb, Engineer Mahmoud Nassar, head of the Central Development Agency, within the framework of the provincial plan to improve the road network and raise its efficiency, in a way that contributes to facilitating the movement of citizens and vehicles and enhancing the elements of development.
Qena Governor inspects the paving of Luxor Road
During the tour, the governor was accompanied by Dr. Hazem Omar, Deputy Governor, Engineer Hassan Farajallah, Executive Director General of the Reconstruction Agency, Engineer Hashem Ahmed Khalaf, head of the Toma Qena Region, Engineer Mohamed Abdel Rahman, Director General of Projects at the Authority, and a number of leaders of the province.
The governor continued the implementation rates on the ground, stressing the need to adhere to the technical specifications and the limited timetable for the completion of the project on the scheduled date.
For his part, Dr. Khaled Abdel Halim stressed that Qena Governorate pays great attention to infrastructure projects, especially the bandits, because of its strategic importance in supporting development efforts, attracting investments, stimulating the movement of rural tourism, as well as improving the quality of life for citizens.

It should be noted that the project of the duplication of the Luxor -Qena Road is one of the vital projects that contribute to raising the efficiency of the region’s infrastructure, and enhances the link between the governorates of southern Upper Egypt, which opens new horizons to integrated development and reflects the state’s efforts in upgrading the services provided to citizens.
