The National Authority for the Regulatory of Health Services, and Primary Health Care Centers confirmed that Bahraini is a priority in employment when the expertise and qualifications necessary to fill jobs related to the health aspect, at a time when only 4 licenses were granted to non -Bahrainis in 2024, for the issuance of circulars that prevent any license for non -Bahrainis, especially in the specialty of radiology and physical therapy.

According to the response of “health professions” and “care centers”, there are organizational circulars and special requirements issued by a decision of the President of the Supreme Council of Health, the CEO of licenses to practice jobs, especially in the fields of laboratory, radiology and practicing the pharmacy profession; To limit the licenses to Bahrainis according to the job, ”they explained, in response to the Financial and Economic Affairs Committee in the House of Representatives, that the number of licenses that was granted in the year 2023 AD is estimated at 32 licenses, while the number of licenses in 2024 reached 4 licenses to non -Bahrainis, which were given for humanitarian reasons represented in their residence in the Kingdom of Bahrain, or as a result of their percentage to a Bahraini mother. They stated that the ministry is working to issue circulars that prevent the issuance of any license for non -Bahrainis, especially in the specialty of radiology and physiotherapy, due to the disclosure of plans for the Ministry of Health with the work fund “Tamkeen”, the private sector as a promoter of medicines, and research with companies; This is to replace the Bahrainis in the place of foreigners. They confirmed the development of a system to monitor all the drugs available in the Kingdom’s pharmacies, whether in government or private hospitals; To facilitate the process of ensuring the withdrawal of the drug, and providing the opportunity for the citizen to ensure that the drug is available or not with ease, indicating the implementation of this system under the name (drug), and is subject to monitoring at the present time (120) pharmacy from the private sector, while confirming the expansion of monitoring.
