The Bahraini heritage products managed to reach the Japanese market in a new achievement that reflects the fruits of cooperation between the “Khair Bahrain” project and the Culture and Antiquities Authority, where products made by widows affiliated with the Royal Humanitarian Foundation were chosen through a product project, within the wing of the Kingdom of Bahrain at the World Expo 2025 Osaka in the Kansai region of Japan.
These distinctive products included a number of handcrafted pieces using crochet threads, which symbolize Bahraini identity, including a piece in the form of “panosh” and a basket of wet.
This achievement reflects Bahrain’s keenness to enhance its cultural presence in international forums, and emphasizes the attractiveness of the Bahraini heritage product made with the hands of Bahraini women, especially in global markets.
