Poultry prices fell today, Friday, May 30, 2025, according to the latest update of the poultry stock exchange, as the price of white poultry decreased by 5 pounds to record 78 pounds per kilo in farms, and reach the consumer at a price of more than the price of farms by about 5 pounds to 7 pounds per kilo according to each region.
Poultry prices came today, according to the latest update from the poultry exchange as follows:
White and Sasso chicken prices
The price of white poultry recorded between 78 pounds per kilo in farms, after the kilo decreased 5 pounds.
The price of the Sasso poultry was 92 pounds per kilo on farms, after a decrease of 2 pounds, and it reaches the consumer at a price that exceeds the price of farms by about 5 pounds to 7 pounds per kilo, while the price of poultry mothers recorded 60 pounds per kilo in farms.
The price of the white chick recorded 22 pounds in farms, while the price of the Sasu chick was proven at 12 pounds.
In a separate context, Dr. Abdulaziz Al -Sayed, head of the Poultry Division of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce, denied the rumors and false information that has allegedly claiming poultry infection with an epidemic virus that poses a risk to the health of citizens and prevents dealing with or eating them.
Al -Sayed explained that circulating news stating that the decline in poultry prices is due to the spread of an epidemic in poultry farms, which only aims to cause confusion among citizens.
He pointed out that the main reason for the decline in poultry prices during this period is that citizens are very popular with red meat, due to the entry of Eid Al -Adha.
